Hosting Hana Qerimi, how Albanian values were placed in the global map of digital transformation!

At Startup Grind, we frequently welcome Womepreneurs to celebrate the achievements and journeys of Women in entrepreneurship!

To promote these values, on May 4th, we had the distinguished pleasure to welcome entrepreneur and innovator Hana Qerimi at Startup Grind Tirana.

Hana was born in Kosovo. Her first initiative Shkolla Digjitale (Digital School) was founded in a room with only 17 computers. Now it has catalyzed into an international franchise with branches in Slovenia, Morocco, Brazil and more.

Hana took us on her journey full of innovation, impact and success. She told us how her initiative Shkolla Digjitale turned into a franchise in many countries, promoting the Albanian values in these international projects.

With more than 3,000 active students in Kosovo and over 10,000 globally, Shkolla Digjitale is changing the educational landscape.

StarLabs, founded in 2017, is a software development company and the largest employer of programmers in Kosovo, with more than 180 software developers for a global market.

Hana’s very humble energy awed us and inspired everyone present. Hana is an entrepreneurial model for any girl and woman out there!

During the interview, we asked Hana what was the dream that she hadn’t achieved yet. Hana said that she aims to impact the educational system so it can be crafted in the most effective way for every student.

With her innovative mindset and expertise, we are sure that in a few years Hana will return to Startup Grind Tirana to tell us the story of how she achieved this goal!
