Hosting Genti Selenica, the impact of innovation in a disruptive age!

We kicked off 2022 very innovatively. Our first event for this year was held on February 3rd as we welcomed Genti Selenica, CEO & Co-Founder of Baboon, the food delivery application has brought continuous innovation the Albanian Market.

Genti Selenica was born in the coastal city of Vlora, Albania in April 1986 and has achieved success at a young age.

He was the Co-Founder of Wineoox (Wine e-Commerce Marketplace App in Italy). Later he founded BuyToAmerica (International Shipping Service New York, USA) and currently CEO and Co-Founder of Baboon Food Delivery on-Demand, the top delivery business in Albania Market for 6 years.

The interview was moderated by Aneida Bajraktari Bicja, the Chapter Director of Startup Grind Tirana.

During the fireside chat, we discussed on important topics such as innovation in business, how to develop innovative ideas, successful entrepreneurship at a young age and more.

Genti stated that having a great idea is only the first step on converting it into a business. A lot more elements affect it’s journey and just as Genti says, market research is one of the most important strategies for your idea.

This strategy is one of the particles that made Baboon the innovative and popular application that is today.
