A Postcard from Startup Grind Tirana! Happy 2023!

What a ride! We can’t believe this year is coming to an end. However, we are more than energized to go into 2023!

Let’s look back at what we accomplished, what we celebrated and what we experienced as a community of achievers.

We started 2022 with our special guest, Mr. Genti Selenica, the mastermind behind Baboon, the most innovative food delivery application.

Genti’s idea disrupted the Albanian market, by bringing a wave of innovation and transforming the way that people order their favorite menus from restaurants all over your city, up-scaling the connection between the restaurants and people.

We continued with our next event, by welcoming Mr. Elvin Guri, a well-known investor, philanthropist and entrepreneur with a very long and successful career and history.

Mr. Elvin shared with us what an being an investor is like, what vision does that career uphold and what success looks like after many years of a great career.

On our next event, we had the pleasure to welcome Ms. Silvana Kulla, the brave Womanpreneur who is making Albania well-known in the industry of wood and glass manufacturing.

Ms. Silvana took us on a very humble journey through her innovative entrepreneurial career. She pointed out the importance on personal development skills and how they intertwine with your success in entrepreneurship.

On the month of May, we also welcomed the changemaker Mr. Ardian Hoxha, the serial entrepreneur and investor behind successful names such as American School of Kosova, SuchiCo, Green&Protein, Duplex Club and more and more.

On our longest Startup Grind event to date, Mr. Ardian took us through his impressive journey where we witnessed what a successful career and a unique vision look like. Ardian stated that entrepreneurs are able to impact huge changes in the world, this being what pushes him to aim for success in his career as serial entrepreneur and investor.

Our last event of 2022 was hosted just a few weeks ago, under the spirit of the global entrepreneurship week. We had the pleasure to welcome global entrepreneur Ms. Helen Doron, where she shared how her journey transformed from cassettes to international franchises.

Ms. Helen has innovated the way that children learn the English language all around the world. What started as recorded cassettes with English songs for children, in her house in 1985, now has transformed in international franchises all over the globe, providing the same quality and opportunities for every child out there.

A journey cannot be successful and impactful, if you don’t have the right people by your side. All these amazing events, wouldn’t be shaped as that if it wasn’t for our those people who chose to grind.

It’s very impacting to meet such entrepreneurs who are bringing Albania to higher standards.
